🔍 How to Verify Official bd9
Follow these steps to confirm that the bd9 app you download is the official version — not a modified or fake build. Reviewed with input from Dr. Rahman Ahmed (BUET).
-
Check the Download Source
Download only from official sources: the official website bd9d.com or Google Play Store. Do not download from unknown third-party sites, forums, or suspicious links. Check the URL carefully — confirm “https://” and the correct domain name.
✅ Official Download Sources:
- Official website: https://bd9d.com
- Google Play Store (official listing)
- Verified official partners
-
Check the Digital Signature
Every official APK has a unique digital signature. You can check it with tools such as APK Signature Verifier or through Android settings. Open “Settings > Apps > bd9 > Advanced > App details” to view the signing certificate.
ℹ️ Digital Signature Verification Tools:
- APK Signature Verifier: Online tool to check the signature
- JarSigner (Java SDK): Command-line option for developers
- APK Analyzer (Android Studio): Full APK file analysis
-
Verify the SHA-256 Checksum
The SHA-256 checksum is a unique fingerprint for each file. Download a free SHA-256 calculator, compute the checksum of your APK, and compare it with the official checksum on the website. It must match 100%.
🔒 Official SHA-256 Checksum for bd9 v4.8.2:
a3f5b8c2d1e9f0a7b4c6d2e8f1a3b5c7d9e0f2a4b6c8d0e2f4a6b8c0d2e4f6a8 -
Scan with Antivirus
Before you install, scan the APK with a trusted antivirus such as Kaspersky, Avast, or Google Play Protect. An official app should report “No threats detected” or “Clean”. If you see a malware warning or suspicious activity, do not install.
-
Check the Package Name
The package name is the app’s unique identifier. For bd9, the official package name is: com.bd9.android. You can check it with APK Info apps or through Android settings. Fake package names often look similar but include a typo or extra characters.
-
Verify File Size & Version
Official bd9 v4.8.2 is Universal 38.7MB or ARM64 22.4MB, and needs Android 6.0+. If the file size is far smaller or larger, the file may have been modified or may not be the official build. Also check the version code for a match.

- Account Ban: Using a modded app can get your account permanently banned
- No Updates: You miss security updates and the latest features from the developer
- Unstable: Apps often crash, feel buggy, and perform poorly

Multi-Layer Verification
Every bd9 release goes through layered checks from multiple security scanners, penetration testing, and code review by certified security experts to keep vulnerabilities as low as possible.
🛡️ Tips to Avoid Fake Apps
Check the URL Carefully
Always check the website URL — confirm HTTPS, correct spelling, and no odd characters. Phishing sites often use lookalike domains with typos.
Read Reviews & Ratings
Fake apps often have low ratings or suspicious reviews. Read user reviews to spot red flags such as malware reports.
Avoid “Mod APK”
Do not be tempted by “mod APK”, “unlimited features”, or “premium unlocked”. Modified apps almost always risk malware and account bans.
Check the Developer Name
Confirm the developer name on Play Store or the website matches the official developer. Fake apps often use lookalike developer names.
Enable Play Protect
Turn on Google Play Protect on Android to auto-scan apps and block harmful ones. It is a solid first line of defence.
Check Permissions
Review the permissions the app requests. If they do not match the app’s purpose (for example a calculator asking for contacts), be cautious.
Red Flags for Fake Apps
- Downloads from sites with many popup ads or redirects
- APK file size very different from the official Universal 38.7MB or ARM64 22.4MB builds
- App asks for permissions that are not relevant
- Very low rating or no reviews at all
- Unknown or suspicious developer name
- App has not been updated for a long time
- Too many “premium unlocked” claims that look too good to be true
